NASHVILLE, Tenn. — INFINITI USA delivered 13,151 vehicles in the third quarter of 2025, closing out September with a 7.7% sales gain fueled by the arrival of 2026 models. QX60 led the charge with a 61% increase, while QX80 rose 11%, reflecting strong consumer response to the refreshed lineup.
Quarterly volume declined 9.6% year over year, primarily due to the planned sell-down of QX50 and QX55 as both models near the end of their production cycle. Despite these transitions, INFINITI maintained consistent performance, with QX60 and QX80 continuing to drive volume and outperform their segments. The brand remains focused on strengthening retail execution, enhancing client experiences and accelerating its product evolution strategy.
“In a dynamic market, consistency is powerful – and INFINITI is delivering it,” said Tiago Castro, vice president of INFINITI Americas. “QX60 and QX80 continue to anchor our performance, driving volume and earning client trust. The response to QX65 Monograph, QX80 Track Spec and Terrain Spec concepts confirms we’re on the right path, with more of the right product coming and a clear focus on our retailers and clients. This is how we move forward: with momentum and working together with our outstanding retail network to serve our clients with excellence.”
INFINITI USA third quarter highlights:
- QX60 posted a 17.2% year-over-year increase, maintaining its position as INFINITI’s volume leader and contributing approximately 60% of total sales. September sales rose 61% year over year.
- QX80 delivered an 11.8% year-over-year gain for the quarter, marking its best calendar year-to-date performance in model history. September sales climbed 11%, surpassing results from the model’s all-new launch month a year earlier. The newly introduced SPORT grade was the fastest-moving trim.
- Together, QX60 and QX80 accounted for 85% of total third-quarter volume.
- The “Switch UP” marketing campaign is driving mainstream-to-premium conquest, resulting in stronger showroom activity and outperforming our marketing benchmark by 36%. Overall, the campaign is delivering twice the effectiveness of our historical conquest creative.
