NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The 2026 INFINITI QX80 boldly elevates the luxury SUV space with intuitive technology that improves every trip, highly crafted design that makes a bold impression and a commanding driving experience to conquer the commute. This year, QX80 builds on its stunning Artistry in Motion design with the luxury flagship's first-ever SPORT grade. Giving QX80 its sleekest, most dynamic appearance to date, the SPORT grade exemplifies INFINITI's focus on delivering bold style that speaks to the tastes of luxury SUV drivers.
"A year after its dramatic introduction, the INFINITI QX80 continues to elevate the standard in luxury SUVs, thrilling INFINITI clients with bold design and technology, while propelling strong sales at INFINITI retailers," said Tiago Castro , vice president, INFINITI Americas. "We know that luxury drivers are looking to make a bold entrance wherever they go, so for 2026 we are dramatically amplifying QX80's Artistry in Motion styling with a SPORT grade offering a sleek, darkened appearance."
Introduced last year with a striking all-new design, QX80 continues to reset the benchmark for full-size luxury SUVs with intelligent, integrated technology; a commanding driving experience; and understated yet precisely crafted style. It delivers extraordinary comfort, convenience and technology for all three rows – a first-class experience for all on board.
The 2026 INFINITI QX80 is offered in PURE, LUXE, SPORT and AUTOGRAPH grades. The 2026 INFINITI QX80 will reach retailers late summer 2025, with Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Prices (MSRP) starting at $83,7501.
QX80 SPORT: A masterclass in boldness
The dramatic makeover for QX80 SPORT begins with a new front grille, a restyled front bumper and a unique 22-inch wheel design. The exterior is replete with darkened elements: exterior trim, mirror caps, lower bumper finishers, roof rails and emblems . Within the cabin, the SPORT treatment includes a stunning Dusk Blue color scheme , with dark matte chrome accents, graphite for the headliner and pillars, open pore wood trim for the instrument panel and doors, and black/blue seat inserts, including unique diamond-pattern perforation. The effect is dramatic yet restrained, amplifying the purposeful nature of QX80's confident posture, strong lines and well-defined proportions.
QX80 SPORT is available in Mineral Black, Radiant White, Grand Blue or Dynamic Metal; the latter three can optionally be paired with a contrasting Black Obsidian roof.
Artistry on four wheels
The 2026 INFINITI QX80 showcases the latest evolution of INFINITI Artistry in Motion design, building on long-standing expertise in craftsmanship and detailing. From the front, QX80's appearance is dominated by the newest iteration of the signature INFINITI double-arch grille. Inspired by the organic shapes of a bamboo forest, the grille shape hints at a powerful, commanding driving experience.
Sleek , multi-element LED daytime running lights (DRLs) on either side of the upper grille are styled to resemble INFINITI's digital piano key elements and complement the illuminated INFINITI emblem. At the lower corners of the front fascia are the vehicle's combination lamps, along with discreet air curtain vents that help aerodynamically optimize air flow around the wheel wells.
The sleek, minimalist design theme is especially evident in profile. Flush door handles, which automatically present themselves when the vehicle is unlocked, result in a cleaner, tidier appearance and contribute to QX80's aerodynamic performance.
In the rear, a full-width LED lighting element draws the eye with over 300 LEDs. Its segmented design recalls the appearance of the grille and DRLs while its curved profile was inspired by the tranquil reflections of light upon a body of water.
These lighting elements create a dramatic welcome sequence that includes activating the available INFINITI Light Path. When the vehicle unlocks, the INFINITI emblem illuminates, followed by individual elements in the DRLs, continuing from the center of the vehicle outwards. It culminates in the INFINITI Light Path, a stunning projection on the ground featuring the INFINITI wordmark and wing-like geometric shapes.
Finely crafted interior, effortless technology
The inside of the 2026 INFINITI QX80 beautifully and deliberately blends form and function, providing a luxurious surrounding for all on board. Soft-touch materials abound, with particular attention paid to layering them over any hard parts where passengers' arms or elbows may rest upon them. Additionally, elements like leather appointments, wood trims, suede and metal seamlessly integrates with high-tech items like touchscreens.
A standard panoramic moonroof, with one-touch open/close, tilt and a power-sliding sunshade, allows more natural light into the cabin when desired.
QX80's dashboard uses two 14.3-inch displays. Ahead of the driver is a configurable meter with three views – Classic, Elegant and Enhanced. An available color head-up display2 helps keep key information in the driver's sight line.
The center display thoughtfully incorporates connected technology into the cabin with Google built-in3. Google Maps allow for simple and efficient navigation, while users can download many of their other favorite apps on Google Play4. Google Assistant further makes everyday interactions easier, allowing for natural-language requests like, "Hey Google, turn on my heated seat," or, "Hey Google, navigate to my office."
A 9-inch touchscreen mounted below the infotainment display provides convenient control of all climate functions, as well as front seat heating or cooling operations and QX80's drive modes selection.
Lighting can also help set the mood with available 64-color Personalized Ambient Lighting, incorporating light pipes in the dashboard and doors.
USB Type-C ports are available in every row with a total of eight throughout the cabin, featuring up to 15-watt/3.0-amp power ratings for rapidly charging devices. Additionally, a wireless phone charger is located inside the front center console.
Three rows of perfect temperatures
QX80 brings first-class comfort and convenience to all three rows of seating. To start with, it has available heated third-row seats . The first two rows are available with heated and ventilated seats. Plus, QX80's available massaging seats are offered in the second row in addition to the front seats, helping drivers and their loved ones feel refreshed on long journeys. In AUTOGRAPH grade, the rear seats and rear climate options are controlled by an intuitive touchscreen integrated into the rear of QX80's center console.
Segment-first available Biometric Cooling5 helps keep those in the second row at a more comfortable temperature. An infrared sensor integrated into the vehicle's headliner detects when a passenger is hot and adjusts the temperature and air flow to direct cool air to the second row.
Cameras that make your drive simpler
The 2026 INFINITI QX80 offers several advanced camera systems that take the friction out of some of the trickiest situations in everyday driving. Front Wide View6 uses camera information to provide a wide, 170-degree view to the sides of the vehicle. That viewing angle allows for "seeing" past parked cars or around corners in tight garages.
QX80 also offers Invisible Hood View7, which uses advanced image processing to take footage from the vehicle's exterior cameras to project an image of what's directly in front of the vehicle onto the in-car displays. The result is as if one could see right through the engine bay, helping spot curbs in narrow drive-through lanes, car wash tracks and other hard-to-spot obstacles on the ground.
Both features become more impressive and more useful when combined with the world-first Ultra Wide View, which extends the displays of Front Wide View or Invisible Hood View across both 14.3-inch displays.
3D Around View® Monitor with Moving Object Detection8 features a 3D spin function and eight pre-selected angles from which the driver can see the car, providing a more natural viewpoint to see the vehicle's surroundings when parking or maneuvering.
Immersive sound with next-level technology
QX80 delivers on luxury clients' desires for powerful, lifelike sound with Klipsch® premium audio systems. QX80 PURE and LUXE feature a 14-speaker Klipsch audio system with 600 watts of total power and a 12-channel amplifier. SPORT and AUTOGRAPH take the audio experience to an even higher level with a Klipsch Reference Premiere Audio System with 24 speakers, 1,200 watts of power and Individual Audio functionality. Distinguishing features include titanium tweeters, four High Line roof-mounted speakers, an 8-inch TriPower subwoofer and a 24-channel amplifier.
The segment-exclusive Individual Audio feature allows the driver to hear only certain audio elements – such as navigation directions, music or phone calls – from their seat. For example, the driver can make a phone call while passengers continue listening to music, or the driver could listen to a favorite playlist and hear map guidance without disturbing those sleeping in the rear seats.
Powerful practicality
QX80 has a spacious cargo area that makes it simple to bring along all of life's needs. Cargo room9 is 22 cubic feet behind the third row and 59 cubic feet behind the second-row seats. The available air suspension can lower the QX80's rear height to ease loading and unloading, making cargo access more convenient.
The second and third rows feature power fold and raise functions (third row only on PURE grade), which can be accessed from buttons in the cargo area or convenient buttons on the front control touchscreen. The second row features a "walk-in" mode that makes access to the third row simpler. Additionally, owing to precise engineering of the folding mechanism, child safety seats can remain safely buckled in place even when the second row tips forward10.
Effortless twin-turbo power
The INFINITI QX80 offers capable performance delivered with refinement. The standard VR35DDTT 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged engine is rated for 450 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. Electronically controlled variable intake valve timing contributes to crisp throttle response. Complementing the engine is a 9-speed automatic transmission with a wide gear ratio range that enables both responsive acceleration and efficient highway cruising.
QX80 models equipped with rear-wheel-drive are rated to return 16 mpg city and 20 mpg highway11; All-Mode 4-Wheel Drive® models are rated for 16 mpg city and 19 mpg highway12.
QX80 has astandard towing rating of 8,500 pounds , when properly equipped13.
Confidence, comfort and control
Decisive capability for the driver and unshakeable comfort for all passengers define the INFINITI QX80 driving experience. All models feature a drive mode selector with Standard, Eco, Sport, Snow, Tow and Personal settings. Each mode features unique tuning for the powertrain response, electric power steering, driver-assistance features and, if equipped, Dynamic Digital Suspension and 4WD.
Available Electronic Air Suspension14 and Dynamic Digital Suspension further refines the ride and handling of QX80, while offering additional benefits in terms of vehicle usability. The air suspension lowers by 1.2 inches at speed for aerodynamic improvements. When parked, it can lower by 2.8 inches from normal to an Easy Access level – dramatically easing ingress and egress of passengers or loading of cargo. Finally, for use in more rugged terrain, an Off-road setting raises the air suspension 2.1 inches above QX80's normal ride height.
The Dynamic Digital Suspension constantly measures the vehicle's motion and calculates the required damping force for electronically controlled dampers. By regulating vehicle motions, reducing body roll around curves and minimizing up-and-down motions over rough roads, the system delivers smoother and more in-control lane changes, and enhanced ride quality.
Engineered for confidence
INFINITI engineers ensured every component of QX80 delivers confident capability. For instance, the new twin-turbo engine uses a super-alloy called Mar-M for the turbocharger turbine wheels to ensure high-temperature durability, plus scavenging oil pumps – inspired by the legendary Nissan GT-R – to ensure oil pressure even during extreme G-forces or when driving on slopes. Engineers also placed crucial electrical components as high as possible in the engine bay to help keep them protected.
The SUV's frame has 25% greater torsional stiffness and 57% greater lateral stiffness versus the preceding QX80, contributing to a more composed ride and more responsive handling, with fewer vibrations. INFINITI also significantly enhanced the new QX80's sound deadening, resulting in the vehicle's cabin being as much as 3 decibels quieter than its predecessor on the highway and 4 decibels quieter in urban and suburban driving.
Seamless driver assistance
QX80 includes an extensive list of technologies intended to help the driver avoid collisions, including Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian detection, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Intervention® and Lane Departure Prevention. Trailer Blind Spot Warning15 additionally works when towing trailers up to 33 feet in length.
The ultimate luxury is a more comfortable journey, and to that end, QX80 features two levels of advanced driver assistance. ProPILOT Assist 1.116 is standard and combines Intelligent Cruise Control with steering assistance to aid the driver in staying centered in their lane.
QX80 AUTOGRAPH also offers ProPILOT Assist 2.117, which elevates the experience by allowing attentive drivers to take their hands off the wheel in certain freeway driving scenarios.
