2023 INFINITI Q50 bolsters its appeal with addition of INFINITI Premium Care
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The 2023 INFINITI Q50 sedan continues its award-winning combination of a lean, athletic stance; a connected and comfort interior; and advanced technologies. Building upon that strong foundation, 2023 Q50 customers also receive the added benefit of the INFINITI Premium Care integrated maintenance program. The 2023 INFINITI Q50 arrives in showrooms later this month and starts at $42,650 MSRP.
Included on all INFINITI model year 2023 vehicles, lease or retail, sold in the United States, INFINITI Premium Care enhances the ownership experience by including up to three years of oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, and more, building on INFINITI’s top-rated customer service.
The 2023 Q50 is available in three well-equipped grades: LUXE, SENSORY, and RED SPORT 400. Each grade is available with INFINITI's Intelligent All-Wheel Drive. The Q50 LUXE grade joins Q50 SENSORY in offering sumptuous Saddle Brown leather-appointed seats as optional equipment for model year 2023. In addition, the Q50 SENSORY now offers an available Radiant Grille Emblem. Previously uniquely available on Q50 RED SPORT, the illuminated emblem draws even more visual attention to Q50’s striking front end styling.
Every 2023 INFINITI Q50, including the LUXE grade, includes a generous level of standard equipment that includes standard leather-appointed seats; heated front seats; a heated steering wheel; power tilt and telescoping steering wheel; power-folding outside mirrors with reverse tilt-down; driver’s seat power lumbar adjustment; and Bose® Performance Series audio.
Finely crafted design
The 2023 INFINITI Q50 immediately catches eyes thanks to a bold exterior that begins with INFINITI's signature double-arch grille highlighted by chrome surrounds. "Human-eye" LED headlights on all grades are as visually appealing as they are illuminating, while slim combination LED taillights produce a distinctive light signature at night.
The 2023 Q50 SENSORY and RED SPORT 400 grades include a sport design front bumper that is lower and more angular, adds to the sedan's aggressive stance. Taking that visual enhancement a step further, these models also feature a black front grille, black window trim and a black finish strip on the trunklid.
Further building on the Q50 sedan’s already bold look, RED SPORT 400 adds black-painted exterior mirrors, red “S” badging, and dual exhaust tips with a brushed satin finish. In addition to offering a performance-focused appearance, the exhaust helps deliver a more powerful sound thanks to a revised mid-pipe.
The 2023 Q50 LUXE is equipped with attractive 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels. Q50 SENSORY and RED SPORT 400 grades pronounce the sedan's performance potential with 19-inch sport-design aluminum-alloy wheels.
Tailored interior with abundant technology
Attention to detail continues to the design of the 2023 INFINITI Q50’s interior, where a driver-focused cockpit boasts high-quality touches like standard textured aluminum trim and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The 2023 Q50 LUXE and Q50 SENSORY treat occupants to leather-appointed seating surfaces for up to five inside, with available Graphite, Stone, or Saddle Brown color treatments. Stepping up to the 2023 Q50 RED SPORT 400 rewards buyers with semi-aniline leather-appointed seats, finished in a striking Gallery White with Red stitching or Graphite with Red stitching. RED SPORT 400 also features aluminum pedals and genuine Matte Black carbon fiber trim, again for a performance-focused appearance.
A high level of technology helps drivers and passengers alike stay informed and connected while onboard Q50. Dual, high-definition displays feature standard wireless Apple CarPlay® and USB-based Android Auto™ compatibility, as well as INFINITI InTouch Services. Additionally, a Bose® Performance Series 16-speaker audio system helps deliver rich, balanced sound throughout the cabin. Device charging and connection are enabled by two standard USB ports in the front (one Type-A, one Type-C).
Twin-turbo engine with strong, responsive power
The 2023 Q50 employs a longitudinally mounted 3.0-liter VR-series twin-turbo V6 engine, with two configurations for discerning drivers. Q50 LUXE and Q50 SENSORY boast 300 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 295 lb-ft at 1,600-5,200 rpm. In Q50 RED SPORT 400 sedans, the V6 engine is further enhanced to produce an impressive 400 maximum horsepower at 6,400 rpm – matching its naming – and 350 lb-ft at 1,600-5,200 rpm.
Regardless of power rating, the V6 is equipped as standard with a 7-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode and Downshift Rev Matching. Steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters on Q50 RED SPORT 400 enable even greater control for enthusiast drivers.
Q50 is offered with standard rear-wheel drive or, optionally, INFINITI's Intelligent All-Wheel-Drive system. Both configurations are available for all three grades.
To match its impressive power, Q50 RED SPORT 400 boasts uprated brakes, with four-piston front and two-piston rear calipers, which are painted red. Also standard is Dynamic Digital Suspension, with dampers that continuously vary damping for optimum ride and handling. RED SPORT 400 models with rear-wheel drive are uniquely equipped with a staggered-width wheel configuration, with 0.5-inch wider rear wheels, to further bolster its high-performance appearance.
