NASHVILLE, Tenn. – As a part of INFINITI's ninth year partnering with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA®), the luxury automaker announced a "TimeoutFTW One in a Million" contest on Instagram and Twitter, where one basketball fan will win a trip for two to the 2019 Final Four®, April 6 through 8, in Minneapolis. Fans are encouraged to post a "one in a million" basketball trick shot to show their support for INFINITI's $1 million donation to Coaches vs. Cancer.
Anyone can enter the contest by posting a video of their best basketball trick shot including #TIMEOUTFTW, #INFINITIContest and tagging @INFINITIUSA by 11:59 p.m. PST on Sunday, March 17.
The winner will be selected by Creative Zing Promotion Group. All judging is based on creativity, difficulty and video quality. After the grand prize is awarded to the best trick shot, eight additional videos will compete head-to-head in a tournament-style vote conducted through an Instagram story poll on @infinitiusa. The runner-up prize consists of one autographed professional basketball jersey.
Last month, INFINITI introduced its "Timeout for the win," #TIMEOUTFTW, campaign to help defeat cancer this NCAA® basketball season. With the help of the American Cancer Society, 48 coaches and fans, INFINITI is donating a total of $1 million to Coaches vs. Cancer during the 2019 season.
