INFINITI is pleased to announce the appointment of a new sales director for Europe, just as the Japanese luxury brand’s commitment to the European market hits top gear with new models, new dealerships and its first hybrid vehicle.

Guillaume Pelletreau takes over as Sales Director, INFINITI Europe, from Philippe Saillard who has joined Nissan CEE (Nissan Sales Central & Eastern Europe).

Taking the reins of INFINITI’s burgeoning family of luxury cars at a crucial time in the company’s short history in Europe, Guillaume Pelletreau brings with him an in-depth knowledge of the European market and experience of both sales and marketing fields within the Nissan group.

The 40-year-old graduate of France’s EM LYON Business School worked for eight years as a consultant at Roland Berger Paris before joining the Nissan group in 2005 as sales and marketing strategy manager. He was then appointed marketing director of Nissan West Europe (France and Netherlands) in 2006 and then Chief marketing manager for Passenger cars at Nissan Europe in 2010.

Guillaume joins INFINITI at a key time in the brand’s European development. He will work closely with INFINITI partner companies on the fast-expanding network of INFINITI Centres, of which there are now 41 throughout Europe, and oversee sales development of an ever-wider range of luxury performance cars.

As well as the G range of Sedan, Coupé and Cabrio, the coupé crossover EX and flagship FX SUV models, the all-new-to-Europe M Line sedan is a key player in INFINITI’s local line-up. Already available in both high performance V6 petrol and lower CO2 V6 diesel forms, the M35h hybrid joins the range within the next weeks, alongside another newcomer for Europe, the limited edition EX Black Premium with its unique offer of membership of the exclusive Relais & Châteaux 5C Club.

“It is the most exciting time possible to be spearheading INFINITI sales in Europe,” said Guillaume Pelletreau. “Times are still tough and there is a great deal more to be achieved, but our customers love our cars and now with diesel, hybrid and petrol offerings the INFINITI range in Europe is stronger than ever.”
