FRANKLIN, Tenn. – INFINITI today announced pricing for the 2014 INFINITI Q70 and Q70 Hybrid luxury sedans (previously known as the INFINITI M), which are on sale now at INFINITI retailers nationwide. Designed to deliver a performance luxury experience crafted to a higher standard, the INFINITI Q70 is offered in five models: Q70 3.7, Q70 3.7 AWD, Q70 5.6, Q70 5.6 AWD and the INFINITI Q70 Hybrid.
Enhancements to the INFINITI Q70 for 2014 include revised spring/damper rates for rear-wheel drive Sport Package models and the addition of an engine oil cooler with the 3.7 Sport Package. The Q70 Hybrid’s fuel economy has been increased by two miles per gallon to 34 mpg highway, 29 mpg city and 31 mpg combined – all while delivering the performance expected from a luxury sports sedan.

About the 2014 INFINITI Q70
As INFINITI’s halo sedan, the INFINITI Q70 embraces the essence of all things INFINITI – style, performance, luxury, craftsmanship and technology.
Both the Q70 3.7 and Q70 5.6 models are offered with rear-wheel drive or INFINITI’s Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system. The Q70 3.7 features a 330-horsepower 3.7-liter V6 engine, while the Q70 5.6 offers a 420-horsepower 5.6-liter V8. All four models are equipped with a standard 7-speed automatic transmission.
A special Sport Package, offered on both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive models offers sport-tuned suspension, Sport Brakes, 20-inch wheels and tires and more.
At the core of the 2014 Q70 Hybrid is the advanced INFINITI Direct Response Hybrid™ system – an advanced one-motor, two-clutch parallel hybrid system. Its precise, high-speed motor control technology, enabled by the powerful Lithium-ion battery, allows power to be delivered directly to the 7-speed automatic transmission. The system also utilizes an innovative Hybrid Electric Power Steering system and Electric Driven Intelligent Brake regenerative braking system, both of which help conserve energy and provide a natural, enjoyable driving feel.
The INFINITI Q70 Hybrid’s exhilarating driving performance also greatly benefits from use of INFINITI’s proven 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 engine, which paired with the 50 kW electric motor, provides a hybrid system net power of 360 horsepower. Torque figures are equally impressive, with the V6’s 258 lb-ft of toque combining with the electric motor’s immediately available 199 lb-ft of torque to provide strong performance.
The 2014 INFINITI Q70 remains a showcase for INFINITI’s advanced, user-focused technologies, including an INFINITI Drive Mode Selector, Active Noise Control, Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Blind Spot Intervention® (BSI), Forest Air® system, Eco Pedal and Active Trace Control.
The INFINITI Q70 also offers INFINITI Hard Drive Navigation System, Bose® Studio Surround® premium audio system, Intelligent Cruise Control (Full-Speed Range), Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Lane Departure Prevention (LDP) systems, Distance Control Assist (DCA) and Intelligent Brake Assist (IBA) with Forward Collision Warning (FCW).
The Q70’s dramatic, sports styling provides a coefficient of drag of just 0.27 Cd, while the roomy, comfortable interior environment features leather-appointed seating, standard Japanese Ash wood trim or available silver powdered genuine White Ash wood trim and available premium audio and climate control systems. Key standard features include INFINITI Intelligent Key with Push Button Ignition, SiriusXM Satellite Radio (SiriusXM subscription required, sold separately), Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System and power sliding glass tinted moonroof.
