INFINITI today reported U.S. sales of 8,428 units for November, an increase of 3.0 percent versus 8,182 units a year earlier. Calendar year-to-date INFINITI sales of 87,471 are down 3.8 percent compared to the 90,909 units sold during the same period last year.
INFINITI sales highlights for the month include:
- INFINITI QX sales of 1,446 was an increase of 9.0 percent for the month, the best November in the full-size luxury SUV's history.
- With sales of 3,623, the INFINITI G Sedan had an increase of 26.9 percent for the month, its best November since 2007.
- The updated 2012 INFINITI FX had sales of 1,125 units, an increase of 24.9 percent, the best November for the luxury performance crossover since 2007.
“The restyled 2012 INFINITI FX was well received in November, and the INFINITI G Sedan and QX full-size luxury SUV continued their sales momentum,” said Ben Poore, vice president, INFINITI Americas. “We expect our sales to continue increasing through the holiday gift-giving season, as we have some of the best offers of the year during our Winter Limited Engagement Event.”
During November, INFINITI also debuted the INFINITI JX, the brand’s first 3-row, 7-passenger luxury crossover at the Los Angeles Auto Show. On sale in the spring of 2012, the JX is expected to have segment-leading interior volume as well as the world’s first Backup Collision Intervention System.
