After being diagnosed with colon cancer in 1989, Coach Norm Stewart starts a foundation that would become known as "Coach vs. Cancer." Here, we get Norm's story on his battle, how basketball helped him, and other prominent college coaches discuss Coach Stewart, and honor of being part of this foundation.

Dr. Otis Brawley, chief medical officer for the American Cancer Society, discusses the huge steps we've taken in researching cancer. As some of the most prominent basketball coaches tell us what they hope for the future, Dr. Brawley tells us why coaches are the perfect ambassadors to raise awareness for this very cause.
Jim and Jim
For years, Syracuse vs. UConn was one of the fiercest rivalries in college basketball. But when UConn Head Coach Jim Calhoun was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer, those battle lines were erased when he called Syracuse Head Coach Jim Boeheim for advice. Coach Boeheim himself had beat the disease earlier, and he offered up some guidance. Here, the two coaches discuss their relationship and desire to battle the disease much like they did each other on the court.
