For the first time, INFINITI invited Chinese automotive media to the United States for a hands-on orientation of a new INFINITI model - the all-new JX.
The 13 journalists and four INFINITI China executives made the 14-hour flight from Beijing, arriving in Charleston, South Carolina, just before midnight. The visit was part of a two-week-long event that also hosted media from the United States, Canada and the Middle East.
Activities included briefings on the all-new JX, as well as demonstrations of the luxury crossover's advanced safety systems and extensive on-road test driving through the scenic area surrounding what has been called America's friendliest city.
China is an important market for INFINITI, which is challenging three German luxury nameplates for the attention of young, affluent Chinese buyers, with INFINITI known in China for its vibrant design and quality. The all-new INFINITI JX is on sale now in the United States and will launch in China this fall.
