Transportation services during the summit will also be complemented by the Nissan LEAF, the first 100-percent electric vehicle available for mass market. This effort underscores the company´s commitment to zero emissions mobility, as it did during the COP16 environmental summit held in Cancun, México in 2011.

Bill Krueger, Nissan vice-chairman and head of Nissan Americas, will participate in the panel Green Technology and Infrastructure taking place on June 17. Also, Krueger will engage in dialogue with global leaders as part of the Green Growth Taskforce.  During the summit, leaders will address key factors in the development of environmental technologies and clean energy, as well as actions that can minimize the impact of industry to the environment.

Nissan is a leading company in environmental technologies and practice. It is the automaker to introduce a zero emissions, 100-percent electric vehicle for mass consumption, the Nissan LEAF. Krueger will discuss the company´s global environmental agenda, Nissan Green Program, as well as the company´s success in collaborating with progressive governments and business partners from around the world to make zero emissions transportation a reality in more than 100 countries.
